Les Invisibles

My sculptures personify deconstructed wooden chairs and tables, objects that tell stories and pretend at being human with arms, legs, heads, masks with eyes, and mouths that speak and scream. We forget that these pieces of furniture know us so well as witnesses to our joys, pains, and tears. Scratches and marks visualise the traces left by their previous owners. How many people have rested, loved, or fought on this chair? I collect these objects and allow them to live a life, theirs, different from the previous one, where they were only second-rate elements.
